And if you are studying abroad with a child, this task becomes a thousand times harder.

Is this truly such an impossible task as you might think it is?

Will you be able to get permission to enroll in a foreign University with a child?

What most people worry about when thinking about moving and studying abroad with a child is whether or not they will actually be accepted to move with a child. And the answer is yes, you will. There is no rule for who can enroll in university as long as you are qualified. This is determined by your grades, attendance, extra curriculum activities, etc. You having a child or being married doesn’t influence whether or not you will be accepted. But this just means that you won’t be able to live in dorm rooms. And this is exactly what makes things so complicated.

You need to have a job

In order to live anywhere with a child, you need a job. And not just any job, you need a well-paying job. Having children isn’t very affordable. Children grow. They need clothing, toys, books. There are plenty of things that you need to finance such as school, a nanny, or whatever hobbies your child has. This all costs money and you need to get money somewhere. This means that you need to find a job. And as you are studying abroad, living with a child and maybe your partner, and you’re a student, this all just becomes very stressful and a lot to handle all at once.

You certainly need to have a job in order to live and study abroad with a child.

And in certain places, finding a job as a foreigner is much harder than you think. Places such as the United Kingdom, The United States, Canada, Australia don’t make any issues when you are a foreigner. And this is because their official language is English and not a lot of people will probably be able to tell that you moved from abroad as you will be speaking the native language. But places such as Spain, France, and Italy are less flexible when it comes to these things. And this is solely because English is not their native language. And if you don’t speak their native language, it might be hard for some people to understand you as they might not speak English.

International moving isn’t easy at all

But before all these complications that will occur after you move, you have to move. And this is international relocation we are talking about aka the hardest type of relocation to handle. Especially with children. And especially now when moving to Europe after coronavirus became an even harder task. There are dozens of things that can go wrong while you are relocating from one country to another. Simply missing one piece of paper among all your documents could set your move back or make it impossible. That is why you have to be financially stable even before moving abroad as you will need a crew to take care of the complete process. This is going to make relocating abroad with children much easier.

Moving internationally is a complex process that takes a lot of time.

But you have to make sure that the movers you are hiring are experienced with international moving like State to State Move moving company is. That is why you should always get an international moving company referred to you by somebody who has moved internationally and has experience with a certain company. This way you’ll hear honest and real experiences which is just what you need.

Adapting is the hardest part

This depends on where you are moving to but usually adapting to a new country is very difficult. And this goes for both adults and children. Especially if moving to a country where you don’t speak the native language. But the language barrier is something that you can look past. At the beginning of it all, you won’t have a lot of free time on your hands. Neither for your child nor for yourself.

This is why we believe that maybe studying abroad with a child isn’t the best thing to do. You will need a lot of money which means working a lot. You also need to focus on your studies and attend classes. Your child is going to feel a bit neglected during this whole period and this is all also going to be very hard on it. Maybe leave moving abroad for after you finish your studies. You might realize that moving abroad was a mistake if you find yourself in such a heavy situation.
